Lake Louisa State Park trades salt water for spring-fed lakes — three of them, tucked into the rolling citrus-country hills of Clermont. It's a different kind of camping weekend: quieter water, longer trails, and a campground built for settling in rather than rushing around.
The park sits about 45 minutes southwest of Orlando, between Lake Louisa, Lake Hammond, and Lake Dixie. Expect 60 full-facility sites with 30- and 50-amp hookups, plus cabins and a few glamping-style bell tents if you'd rather skip the tent setup. Bring a kayak or paddleboard — the lakes are made for it — or walk the seven miles of paved road and twenty miles of trail.
